WHEREAS, District schools will benefit from School Safety Officer services; and WHEREAS, the City of Springfield employs policy officers specifically trained to provide such services; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board hereby approves an Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement with the City of Springfield pending final legal review whereby the City shall provide the services of School Safety Officers at Lanphier, Southeast, and Springfield for a term commencing August 14, 2023, and ending on or about May 29, 2024, at a cost not to exceed $285,000.
