WHEREAS, the Architect for Springfield High School has recommended a variance from the requirements of the International Building Code 2015, Section 504.4; and
WHEREAS, the Architect has developed a plan of action that allows for compartmentalized fire areas and sprinkler systems within the new architectural plans; and
WHEREAS, the Regional Office of Education and Illinois State Board of Education must review variance requests and make final determinations;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves the application for variance approval for submission to the Regional Office of Education and Illinois State Board of Education. |
